Delete your account

In the app

Settings → Data → Delete account. The app asks for confirmation and then does two things: tells the server to forget your username along with the push token and the queue, and erases everything on the phone - conversations, files, keys. This cannot be undone: there is no copy of the keys, not with us and not in any cloud.

If the app is already gone

Write to support@dbqp.online with your username. We erase the server record within seven days. You will have to prove the username is yours - from the same device, or with the code you got at registration - otherwise anyone could delete anyone's account.

What exactly disappears

On the server: the username, the push token, the queue address and every envelope still in it. On the phone: conversations, attachments, encryption keys, settings.

What cannot disappear: copies of your messages on other people's phones. Those are theirs, and we cannot reach them - and neither can anyone else.
